laser declaw question on alt med vet

Hiya ,
If any one has a minute, can you reply to the laser declaw question
on alt med vet -(
.. The question is -
*Does anyone know about what it costs for a laser declaw surgery? My
vet (Which does not do it) said she was not sure how much it was but
heard that it was "quite expensive". I heard it was supposed to be
less painfull and heals quicker then conventional declaw surgery.*

I've been posting to this newsgroup for 3 years so I hope that people
know me well enough by now to know that I'm not trying to start a war.
I was asking for people to respond to the question on alt vet med ,
however I think the OP could be a troll as she posted about laser
declaw videos on another group.

I'm hoping you will be able to dissuade the person from doing this .

If they know the risks and know alternatives, and want to do it anyway,
there is little anyone can say that will change their minds.
Show them the usual - if they aren't dissuaded, they're just cruel
people who do as they want to the beings they're supposed to care for.
Only laws protect animals from people like that.
