Is it favoritism?

A routine has become well-established in this home. I lie down after
my day of being a geek; China-Doll gets into my hair, in a very
literal sense; Stosh hops up on me to give me my nightly massage. And
then, between five and six in the morning, all hell breaks loose.

Stosh will begin it. Eighteen pounds of cat walking on comparatively
small paws will get up on Louie and offer headbutts--HEADBUTTS, of all
things! Mama does not get headbutts. China will gently nip Louie's
hands and the bulk that is Philip will lie alongside my poor awakened
husband and try to push him off the bed. Brandy might jump on my and
knead, but it has the opposite effect of Stosh's ministrations; She
and her big ungainly paws will rouse me. Roxie will sit on the shelves
near Louie's ears trilling, and Sabrina will be off by herself
sleeping on my big stuffed froggie Lester, grateful for some relative
peace. Do I need to feel jealous here or something? Because they don't
try to wake MY tuchas up at the crack of dawn!

Maybe he's more generous in filling the food bowls.
