Testing her bounds
Apache is getting more comfortable. In fact, she has started testing her bounds. Several times, I have caught her on counters or table tops or atop the fridge. When she sees me coming, she runs away, apparently thinking her spot is off limits. I stop and tell her, as sweetly as possible that it's perfectly okay for her to be wherever she was. She sometimes slinks back to the spot again. Other times, she waits until I'm gone, then returns to her spot. But she never runs from that spot again. Apparently, she is figuring out that we spoil cats here. Hugs and Purrs, Mark -- Proof of Sanity Forged Upon Request
