"Matthew" wrote in message ng.com... http://hosted2.ap.org/APDEFAULT/3d28...83818814b67180 http://now.msn.com/ocean-crossing-ki...?ocid=todnow11 I hope he recovers and gets a good home in the US. I haven't been to Shanghai myself but my aunt has (twice in the last 5 years, stopover on the way to NZ and Australia.) She says the air is so horribly polluted with fumes and smoke in Shanghai that she could hardly breathe or even see across the street. I don't blame the kitty for jumping on a ship to get away from that! If he is orange and white, his face looks dirty (smoke from his homeland or grubbing around in a container, who knows?) He took a chance, didn't he, and looks exhausted and ill - not surprising. I hope he'll soon recover and find a great home, I'm sure lots of people will want him because of his sad story but they can all be filtered down into genuine. Tweed |

What I think is great is when they find the cats someone always wants to take care of them Jill |

What I think is great is when they find the cats someone always wants to take care of them I'm always amazed that they survive. Maybe the survivors are the ones that get in the news, though, and others don't survive - we just don't hear about them. But just the same, it is pretty amazing that any of them survive! I guess they lick moisture from condensed humidity that gets on the walls, or something. That hardly seems like enough. And what about food? Maybe shipping containers always have rodents, I don't know. -- Joyce Hi, this is the Sylvia stress reduction hotline.
