Tribute: Neko, House of Patterson/Guyette

[Large white Persian ascends to the podium]

I am told that Neko was very loud and complained a LOT when she was a kitten.
She arrived at our House one cold day and yelled and cried onda porch until da humans finally let her In.
And she was scared and picked-on by da cats already at our House.
By da time I arrived, she had mellowed.
Omar, a very gentle kind of cat (he was before me but joined da clowder after Neko), who was nice to her, and made her feel better.
And she didn't complain or feel scared nearly so much.
Even though she was years and years older denn mineself, sometimes she played Chase Me Chase You with me, which we boff enjoyed.
She loved mymom a lot, and mom misses da way she would sit on her lap for hours and nap.
She was pretty, and a little shy, but we were friends.

Poor Neko. We didn't know her but we are glad she was loved and she will be

Mine humans say she was right around 18 and, once she figured out the other cats weren't going to hurt her, she settled nicely.
