Default Falling behind on my airplane payments

Well, I guess I was getting behind on the airplane payments. (My vet
owns a small plane)

Last week I heard the usual dreaded phrase. "Mom (Grandma) there's
something wrong with Jake"

Once upon a time it would have been Sam (RB), who fought every cat and
dog in the neighborhood. Then it would have been Sugar who dislocated
her hip more times than I can count.

I guess I should be happy that it is only certain ones of our fur kids
that seem determined to be a permanent feature in the vets budget.

Anyhow, this time he had some lacerations under his left 'arm'. Not
really deep and didn't appear to be infected. Just deep enough to
require the vet visit. Followed by some cat shaving. a couple of
staples because it was healing but looked iffy, antibiotic shot and
bottle of liquid to dose him with until its gone. Oh, and some lab
work because his Daddy doesn't think he's feeling well and is worried
about him.

But we got off easy. Didn't require anesthetic etc, and he is healing
nicely. Labs came back normal, which is always good.

Wallet is lighter by $240. mostly for the lab work. But, yes. He's
worth it.

I'd ask for purrs for Jake to rest easy, but that part he is already
pretty good at. Maybe some purrs that he stay out of dicey situations
to start with?

With six cats I can so relate to this feeling. Purrs on the way for
Jake as well as your aching pocket book.

Healing purrs on the way for Jake, and purrs for your slimmer wallet to
fatten back up again!

Hi Jo - my wallet commiserates with yours - sending purrs for Jake to have a
more sedate lifestyle!

Thank you. I don't understand how he manages. I could swear if he
were any more sedate, he'd be comatose. Found another owie behind his
ear last night! It just seems to be a scab however.
