I bought a treadmill a few weeks ago and yes I used it daily. Shamrock
meows at me while I'm working out. Tonight I put it on it's slowest speed
and started putting the cat toys on the treadmill and the cats were going
nuts watching them slowly go by them and drop at the end. LOL

Hey, thanks!!! I've finally found a good use for the treadmill gathering
dust in my great room!

Quick story... My treadmill used to be in my sitting room, so I started
nagging DH about putting it in the great room so I could watch the big TV in
there while I worked out. I knew if I could just find something to distract
me from the tedium of exercising I'd be more diligent about working out. He
finally got tired of listening to me gripe about it and dragged that
heavy-ass thing *up the stairs* so I could use it more often. That was 7
months ago... I've used it twice since then. ;

Mine is in my living room. The room I spend the most time in other than
when I'm sleeping. It takes up some room, but it folds up to save a little
space. I just wanted it to be where I don't forget about it and if its in
plain view I'll feel guilty by not using it.

Rhett HATES this thing. He is timid anyways, and anything new scares him.

Smart cats. Exercise is great, they could watch it all day long.

*We need pictures.* A video would be even better (but I still haven't
gotten around to learning how to put my Holly and Duffy videos online, so I
can't really demand that).

Cheryl, please send me your current unmunged e-mail address. I've got
this wmv
file I don't know how to post a link to it...but it is hysterical.
It's two cats running
a treadmill. One eventually just leaves his back legs on the floor,
and "runs" with his front paws only. (anyone else who'd like to see
it, just email me too)

My cats won't stay in the room if the treadmill is on. Mine is kind of
loud and clunky-sounding. Stay with it! It's not too dreadful in
itself, it just can get so boring. I usually read a book while I"m
walking. But that also caused me to fall off the thing once, so I'm a
little more careful.

They are *definitely* heavy. DH drug mine from the den to the back
bedroom. I can't even imagine lugging it up stairs. I don't use it
much in the summer, b/cause
I like to walk in the pasture when the weather's good.

Wow! Go, Shamrock! He doesn't have any fear at all of it, does he?
