I would love to hear what recruiters say to get all of these
"volunteers." They go in to small, poor towns with their impressive,
very clean uniforms and white shoes and tell all of these high schoolers
how wonderful it is to be in the military. They do not accurately
represent life in the military or let these kids know what they are
really getting in to.

We all need to end this ridiculous agruement all it is doing is casuing one
hell of a flame war. Hatred on boths sides is being spewed out. There is
no way to turn the opinions on 3 subjects sex, Religion, or Politics. Each
of us have our opinions there is no way to get either side to see either's
point. All it is doing it cauisng us to turn evil against one another.

Both side are wrong, Both side are right in each of their own ideas. They
only thing we all can agree with is Politics is nothing but bull**** always
has been and alwasy will be. There is only descent politicians right now
are these folks and even they have their problems as all politicians do

sometimes. I have had them pop up right in front of you eye to eye when I
was swimming before. I don't go in water I can't see the bottom any more
between sharks, hurricanes, alligators, old fart it ain't safe in Florida
anymore

This is one reason why Republicans love this War. Sure, "it is all
volunteer." But who will be attracted to being shipped to the desert
to fight people who see dying as a way to get to heaven, while using
vehicles without sufficient armor and knowing how thin the US forces
are stretched and will be stretched for a long time? Members of the
Young Republicans? Bush's buddy's sons from the country club?
The average suburban asshole's overfed, pinheaded son with his
inflated sense of entitlement? Young Tiffany whose idea of an adventure
is to have a pedicure at a strange salon?

Not quite. You see the ones the military appeals to on the news
every night, smiling out from photos their parents chose, smiles
from the lost and the dead and those who never had a ****ing chance
because they bought into the "honor" shuck and jive that our good
buddy "Nomen" the paid-my-dues-and-****-you mother****er is
selling. They are kids from the hills of West Virginia and streets of
DC and the ghettos of Detroit and other places where there are few
opportunities for the children of the working poor.

For some reason these girls do not look like George Bush's daughters,
born with a silver spoon in their noses, or the boys like George himself

was a snotnosed n'er-do-well whose Daddy paid his way through
an Ivy League college. Many of them are browner much browner and

lot more Walmart stuff in their care packages from home than "W" would

nothing positive at all for the majority of Americans. His daddy

even DARK brown! And they are hungry and needy and they
are already here.

babies who now are lingering in fosterhomes for lack of families,
