Default Taking On the Cat Hater (Pix!)

One of my friends, an author, is a proud "rat person" who is none too
fond of cats (yes, I find it strange too.) She warned me that her
latest book has some, er, rather unsavoury feline references, which I
will not mention here as you folks will not appreciate them, but she
wanted me to know in advance so I wouldn't be shocked and/or upset at
her when reading her latest. (There are also unsavoury canine
references, but as of yet, no unsavoury rat references....)

Here are the photos I sent her today.

I highly recommend the Wess'har Wars books and the Republic Commando
series. This book is great too, if you're willing to forgive the
strange viewpoints of cat haters.

Nocturne is looking very chipper! Her reading material is quite
appropriate, too. And I'm sorry, but I don't know how to tell "the
bitties" apart - which is which?

Tyche is our whiteface. Kumani is the one who is tabby all over.
Tyche is also a fatty, though you can't see it so much in that pic,
while Kumani is long and lean.

And I don't think I want Nocturne reading that book--far from being
offended, she'll use the unsavoury cat references on her "List of Uses
for Smokey."

Testing...my posts don't seem to be getting through.

Tyche is our whiteface; the one who's tabby all over is Kumani. In
fact, when DP first brought them home he referred to them as
"Darkface" and "Lightface" until we could sort out proper names (and
figure out how to handle cross country move + his masters thesis + my
military service + 3 week old kittens).

I got your first reply. But maybe your article didn't get saved on
your server for some reason?
