Grace I'm not an Australian, but winter and summer are reversed in Australia. Christmas is in the summer, and many people go to the beach on Christmas. Joy |

Joy I am an Australian. I can confirm that Christmas is the hottest damn day of the year - December 25 - usually in the mid/high 30's (celcius). Think of Australia as being in the Southern Hemisphere - the seasons in the Southern Hemisphere are reverse of those in the Northern Hemisphere. -- Alan Erskine alanterskine(at)hotmail.com Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad - the new Hitler http://www.optusnet.com.au/news/stor...tic/969056.inp |

Shop Trader Joe's - they have it in their frozen food case, year-round. (sigh) No Trader-Joe's in Memphis. Give them time - they began in South Pasadena, California, but have spread up the West Coast and to Nevada, Arizona and several locations on the East Coast. They've also become more of a full-service grocery than they once were - a blessing when the three largest supermarket chains here are all out on strike! (I'll cross a picket line if I absolutely must, but prefer not to do so.) |
