New kitty pictures!

A good friend of mine got a brand new digital camera as a gift, and
that was a happy day for me, because I inherited her old one! For those
of you who like to look at people's cat pictures, it's a happy day for
you, too. I've constructed a new page just for Roxy and Licky, 2012.

Please be patient with the quality of the photos, as I'm still getting

Roxy is cute as a bug in a rug. Licky is lovely. MLB

That's exactly how I think of them. Licky's the long, elegant
mini-leopard, while Roxy is just plain cute, and 100% domesticated.
Everything she does is cute.

She's usually a little more lively when playing, but apparently she
ran out of steam while was taking pictures.

I wish I'd gotten a good photo of Licky stalking a string. His body
is crouched low as he slowly slinks forward. Every muscle in his body
is dedicated to the purpose of catching the string. He looks like a
miniature black leopard, with his sleek, shiny fur and graceful feline
moves. It's a sight to behold.

I love them both in different ways - Licky for his beauty, and Roxy
for her adorableness. She always rolls on her back and waves her arms
around when I dangle the string, which probably wouldn't scare any
mice, but looks pretty cute to me. I'd love to have a picture of her
rubbing noses with me - she's such a sweetheart. But that would
involve having another person here, and she tends to be more reserved
when company is here.

What lovely cats and piccies. You seem to have got the hang of the camera.

Thanks! This is my first digital camera, and I'm not quite used to the
way that it takes an extra few seconds to take the picture, after I've
pressed the button. Analog cameras snap the picture immediately. With
this one, I've missed a number of cute kitty scenes because by the time
the damn thing gets around to actually capturing the image, the cats
have moved. So I guess there are two problems he digital camera, and
constantly moving subjects.
