Kitty mood swings
I'd like to share a conversation with you that I just had with the
Love Of My Life. It was about Mooch, our resident stray who eats his meals on our veranda and sleeps there in his own special bed-chair. The LOML had just returned from the veranda where she'd given Mooch his second or third meal of the day (and it's still morning). ME: Did Mooch appreciate you giving him his food? LOML: How can you tell? ME: You can tell. Didn't he rub up against your leg the other day? LOML: That was once. Usually he runs under the table when I show up. But I don't take it personally. ME: Of course not - he's a cat! Take Martha (one of our three indoor cats). Sometimes she'll run away if I get near her. Then five minutes later she's on my desk, nuzzling me!! Does that conversation sound familiar in your household? |

Does that conversation sound familiar in your household? You mean like the half hour we spend every night begging, pleading, tricking, catching, etc to get Molly into the house for the night? After which she sticks to my feet all night like velcro. She wakes me up in the morning with headbutts and nose touches and snuggles. All of which are just so I will get up and open the door so she can 'escape' again. Jo |
