Default Teddy Flatmouse kidnapped by pirates!

I have a funny way of describing a lost cat toy. Although "Teddy
Flatmouse" is probably lost beneath the sofa or under a bookshelf, when
my cat "RJ" goes looking and can't find the toy, the excuse RJ uses is
that Teddy Flatmouse was "kidnapped by pirates". And often Teddy will
"escape" and be found again in a few weeks.
Amazing what things we create on behalf of our beloved kitties, eh?

Arr, where d'ye thinks we get the cat toys for the pirate ship "Mouser"
from, landlubber? After we gets tired of them, we sends them back.

Do those pesky pirates hide the toys under the stove or fridge? That's
where they hide ours. When Phil (the smart one) can't stand missing them
anymore he lays in front of the stove and howls till we 'rescue' them from
captivity. He gets so excited that he "kills" his playmates during their
exuberant reunions!

Sounds like your cats have got you properly trained. I know I'm nicely
conditioned by my RJ.
