We rescued a homeless stray 4 days before Hurricane Charlie - stayed in
our "manufactured" (mobile) home during that one with the 3 previous
rescues of ferals. Couldn't conceive of caging and moving them and
leaving them wasn't an option. Caught and evacuated them all for the
next 2 hurricanes and everyone is doing well and happy. Of course we
have 4 cat carriers to store during the rest of the year!!

Oh, good story! I was beginning to think this newsgroup had dried up
altogether.

4th rescue is up one on the Xmas tree. It lasted 5 hours before hitting
the floor!
