Dulce Mae's toy
Senyah uses a walker to get around. It's a reasonably nice one with a seat and hand brakes. Also, Senyah really doesn't understand cats. I hear Senyah in the hallway, getting onto Dulce Mae. Senyah has moved her walker near the door, in preparation for going to church. I ask her what's wrong. She tells me that Dulce Mae won't quit "moving the brake cables around." Dulce Mae has been rubbing her face on the walker - marking it - *just in case* any other cats try to claim it. I tell Senyah that Dulce Mae is just trying to claim Senyah as her person, and that it's a sign of affection. Hugs and Purrs, Mark -- Proof of Sanity Forged Upon Request |

You remind of the time my mother came to visit, shortly after her hip replacement (she of course required a walker to get around). Mom was not exactly a fan of the cats, so she had the spare bedroom, and kept the door closed so the cats would not get in. Miu (my flame-point Siamese) used to lie in wait for her outside the door, and pounce on the wheels of the walker as she emerged! Mom would get so upset, and you could just SEE Miu chuckling at her annoyance! |
