Barney is a Boogerbutt!

The silly cat! *Every* time I scoop the litterboxes, he will run up, just
as I am about to put the back on, hop into it, dig around a bit, then
proceed to leave me a, erm, 'pressie' to scoop out. Once, he sat there for
what seemed like 3 minutes, and all he left were 2 itty-bitty 'nuggets' -
each no bigger than the tip of my pinky-finger, and not even worth 3
minutes, but he just *had* to leave them before I was done, so I could take
the stinky things away!

I guess it's a good thing that he does this, else we'd have to smell it
until the ext scooping!

You're probably frustrating the bejabbers out of the poor little guy.
You scoop away the evidence of his existence, so he works very, very hard
to leave some more, then you scoop that away, too.
