Here There Be Dragons

Well, okay, lizards. Boy howdy, when I get back here to SC with Persia
she's going to be fascinated by the new wildlife! From the hummingbirds
that dart around the feeder to the geckos. I'm not sure, but I think that
gecko by the mailbox today was trying to sell me car insurance

ARRRGH! I *hate* those commercials. They've been "done to death" on
both radio and TV.

I know, I'm sick of the commercials, too. And I don't recommend Geico,
either. Sure, if you have an absolutely *perfect* driving record you get a
great rate. And I did have a perfect driving record; I had Geico for oh, 3
years? But I was hit by someone who didn't have insurance so Geico had to
pay the claim - and promptly cancelled my coverage.

This little gecko was much more charming than any old commercial one

I never met a gecko that even tried to talk to me. :P One gecko in my dad's
house tried to bite me when I put him outside, but he was such a teeny
thing, I couldn't even feel his teeth. Maybe *he* was trying to sell me car
insurance, but he was too tiny to understand.
