Purrs for Yoda
His bad eye is tearing. He had it sewn shut a couple of years ago and
medicated and has not had any trouble since. The ulcer left the eye clouded and scarred, and he probably can't see out of it, but it never teared, and he never squinched or showed it caused any discomfort. I noticed this late afternoon yesterday, the vet was already gone but the girls were still there and he called in eyedrops. I don't hold much hope because eye drops didn't help at all last time. I imagine I'll end up taking him back Monday and they'll want to sew it shut again. I just hope he doesn't want to remove the eye, which he told me last time was the last resort. Maybe I'm just being pessimistic, after all, all we have now is just some tearing. I am very worried about him, mostly because he's so old and looks too frail to have a big surgery like that. If it's hurting him, it's not bad yet because he isn't hiding; he always goes in the coat closet when he is ill. Hasn't done that yet. And when it rains, it pours; Bosley's chin acne came back last week; one tiny spot, but this time I knew what it was. I scrubbed his chin with a hoomin acne pad, and it looks like it's completely gone away. I've managed to nab him by surprise when he's napping and "doctor" it a couple of times a day since. (Bosley's too combative usually to do muchwith). So aside from smelling like a teenage boy the day before prom, and running everytime he sees me coming at him, he's doing just fine. Thanks Sherry |

Mega healing purrs are on the way for Yoda and for Bosley. Gawds know we've
had way more than our share of medical problems here on the group lately - let's all of us purr for a healthier future for all of us, bare-skin and furred. -- Hugs, CatNipped See all my masters at: http://www.PossiblePlaces.com/CatNipped/ "Sherry" wrote in message ... Lots of purrs for the Yoda-man. Let's not go down the route of thinking eye removal yet, although having a very elderly cat always sends one into a panic if there's something wrong. It's easy to think everything could be the end. Lots of positive thoughts coming from over the pond, and Boyfie sends his quiet purrs for Yoda. Tweed |
