Just popping into the hooman hospital today.

I had a bit ov a wait at da hospital since they had three ambulances come in just about the same time I got there and this is just a small town hospital, but they had furry modern equipment and building. I wus impressed, cus it dusn't look like much frum da outside, but apparently they put the money where it counts. Da good news is that I am home and I get three days off werk. I will use da rest wisely, exceptin I has to go to da farmacy tomorrow. That's part uv the bad news. Da hooman TED sed I has to start wearin elastic stockings and that I will likely have trouble with my legs the rest ov my life. I can belief him cuz my father was the same way. Those elastic stockings are going to be expensive too. Ennyway, I'll be keepin the leg up as much as possible and doin as little walking as possible under the circumstances. That's goin to be hard since I live alone and if anything is going to get dun, I has to do it. Anyway, Yes I am feeling much better and can walk around without the cane right now. I just missed a bus though, and it gave me some time to write to you today. I did have a clot in a vein in my leg, but blood thinners and elevation are seeming to dissolve it. There are some other things that will need attention for the rest of my life, but I'll do what I can.
