Few more snippets
Lula has a thing for jewelry. I habitually wear a watch, a bracelet,
and my wedding ring, and she frequently seizes one of these with her teeth and yanks hard, hard enough that she'll succeed in breaking the bracelet one of these days. I can't figure out, though, whether she disapproves of jewelry or wants some for herself. Maybe I should get her a collar. I don't put my bras in the clothes dryer, and brought in a couple wet from washing and hung them on a folding clothes rack in the bedroom to dry. I went back out to the laundry room, and when I came back one of the bras was on the bed and the other was out in the hall. Hubert insists there was a freak tornado in the bedroom, but I'm thinking he's channeling Seanette's Felix. ;-) Hubert is an Olympic-caliber sleeper. He'll suddenly sit up, stretch, and then topple back over, asleep again before he's down. When he does actually wake up, he staggers around yawning and blinking and smacking his lips for a good while. Tallulah, on the other hand, is a very light sleeper. The other night both cats were asleep, and I tiptoed by Lula *carrying my shoes* because I thought I might actually get to scoop the boxes without "help" for once. Nope. Suddenly there's a little black cat scurrying down the hall behind me. When Tallulah gets excited she shivers her tail like she's spraying (she's not, though) and makes tiny little meeeee noises. She gets this excited every time I get anywhere near the shelf where the canned food lives. Hubert is now able to open the kitchen cabinets. Since I persist in my weird delusion that there are things which are Not For Kitties (well, Hubert thinks it's a delusion), I have run a long string through the cabinet handles and tied them shut. Hubert knows why he can't get them open any more; I've seen him pawing at the cabinets and then tweaking the string. A smart kitten is a scary, scary thing. ------ Krista |

Adorable! I love your snippets :-)
A smart kitten which is going to be a giant is a really scary thing! Have you checked Hubie for opposable thumbs? Excellent as usual!!! Hubert is going to be quite the "manly man". I can
just see him scratching his belly and yelling for a cuppa joe after your sleeping description! "LOL" wrote in message om... Lula has a thing for jewelry.
