Cheryl -- Cat Enclosure Gate pictures
equalizer wrote in message ... I told you I'd post some pictures of the Friendly Fence gate when I got my camera fixed. Here they are -- as you can see, there's no problem getting a mower in here. And it's also plenty good at keeping big bad feral cats out so I's don't have'n to blast 'em. PS -- the bird feeder is sitting on the stump to prevent them (the cats) from getting the idea of using the stump as a launch pad in an excape attempt. It's not some sort of sick game of trying to lure birdies to their deaths. http://web.newsguy.com/equalizer/gate_1.jpg http://web.newsguy.com/equalizer/gate_2.jpg http://web.newsguy.com/equalizer/gate_3.jpg eq That's a fantastic setup. In fact, it is similar to some fencing that my brother and sister-in-law installed to "deer-proof" their yard. (It works, too!) What brand/company did you use? MaryL |

MaryL The company is http://friendlyfence.com/ff/. I believe they ARE the deer fence people. This is a new usage of the material for them. I hope it takes off. It's perfect for cats and would save may lives if people would do this in high-risk areas. Thanks. I'll add this to my list for friends who have asked about fencing in their back yards. I'm also going to check with my brother -- but this may actually be the same company. MaryL |
