Default Do Your Cats Eat Less When It's Very Hot?



Sort of- they eat less in the middle of the day because it's too hot
for them and they just want to find somewhere cool and snooze until it
gets cooler at which point they surface from wherever they're hiding
(Dave hasn't seen Sarrasine all day today and I haven;t seen her since
about 11) and make up for lost time. In cooler weather they come out
about midday for something

Oh, yeah. I feed mine dry food for their first meal (water added for
all of them that will eat it that way), and canned food for the second.
There's always dry food left when I don't think to feed them less because
it's hot.

Mosey is the only one who harks up dry food.

It's supposes to be in the 90 degree range till Monday or so.
The cats are limp and we are sweating.
