Lifeline Animal Rescue in New Jersey
They've got so many sweet babies waiting for homes!
Go to http://www.lifelinerescue.org/ and click "Cats for Adoption" link. New Jersey is a small state but it has 353 shelters listing with Petfinder. Amazing... How come so many NJ folks abandon their pets?

I notice this shelter is in Warren, NJ - I went to high school there. Which is kind of unfortunate, as you grow up thinking that everyone's father is either a CEO or has an earldom, and that the best place to hang out after school is a country club. I'm glad I moved away.
