Looks like Typhoon #4 is heading toward Tokyo. In case you see the
news and wonder about me, I live on the western side of Tokyo and we
rarely have flooding because I'm on pretty high ground. We just get
wind damage, usually to the many tall trees in the area. One year an
enormous tree on the school playground was uprooted by a typhoon after
heavy rain-- and I mean uprooted-- the roots were about 10 feet tall!

Of course I keep the cats in during a typhoon-- but they're always
fascinated by what's going on out there. Everyone is in now except
Cherry, and I imagine she'll be back soon. No wind yet.

Shoot--a JW just came to the door while I was typing this. Guess he's
trying to get his quota in before the storm hits.

I assume it's a Jehovah's Witness. Guess they're scouring the streets
of Tokyo too.

Purrs for you and your crew - especially for Chibi, who has to stay
safe until you can find her and bring her home.

Sending special purrs for

chibi. May she find a safe haven -- preferably home with you. MLB

Ah, but you're not knocking on my door. Nor am I knocking on yours.
Makes all the difference. (If you find Chibi, though, you can knock
on my door any time!)

How is the weather today? I had a dream last night that a huge hurricane
was coming, and I and several people were getting ourselves ready for it
by loading up on things you can use without the benefit of electricity.
I think your post from yesterday must have inspired this dream!
