Default Cat Lost In Yellowstone Returned To Texas Family

You wouldn't believe how many people go through my Rest Area with their
pets. They are usually caged or on leash and harness. They wouldn't dream
of going anywhere without them. One cat was 19 years old and had traveled
with this couple ALL of it's life and the one time they left it at the vet's
it got so sick, they never left it again. It laid up on the dash and WAVED
at truckers. They said everytime a truck would go by, it would raise a paw
and the truck would honk.

That's a great story, although I have to wonder about people who bring
their cat to a wildlife area that's full of cat-eating predators.

I know I wondered about that too. At one point in the past I was
considering do that with my two cats - traveling around the country
when
time permits in a RV. It was for that reason and a few others that I
gave up on that idea. I also did not think that they would really enjoy
it much they would probably want to just stay at home with a catsitter.

Yeah, not every cat can be Harri Roadcat. I'm sure all of mine would
hate it. And that's even without being allowed outside in a dangerous
area!

Then again, there's Annie w's cats Cinders and Rosie who loved being the
owners of the boat "Genesis." They would watch out the windows, climb all
over the decks and help with all on board activities. They seemed pretty
content to me.

Well, we all know that the ONLY true statement anyone can make about
"All cats...." is that there is NOTHING that can be said categorically
about "all cats" - there are always exceptions.
