Default Lovely day

Today is my birthday.

Vernon is away, so it's just Nathan & I at home (apart from the cats).
Nathan got me a wonderful birthday present: the DVD of the live performance
of Jeff Wayne's 'War of the Worlds'

It is stunningly brilliant.

I've watched the main performance.

Now I've made a meal for Nathan & I. Vernon isn't into seafood, but Nathan &
I are, but rarely get to eat it at home. So I've made pasta with tuna,
prawns, garlic & tomato in white wine. Nathan is having seconds :-)

For dessert, we are having some blueberry & almond tart: nicely warmed
through with a slurp of cream to go with it.

Waffles has helped herself to a prawn from my pasta - cheeky cat!

After dessert - back to the extra bits of 'War of the Worlds'

Cheers, helen s
