coca-cola and rust

Actually it doesn't taste bad at all. Tastes just like Coke, but hot instead of cold. I would assume that the fizz would be completely gone, as the heat would have driven all of the carbon dioxide out of solution. Depends upon how long you heat it, I imagine - I don't think she really meant "boiled" in the sense most of us are thinking of it - maybe just heated to boiling point. -- NewsGuy.Com 30Gb $9.95 Carry Forward and On Demand Bandwidth |

[OT] coca-cola and rust
"meee" wrote in message ... Aah I see the problem. It works out for me, as I'm the kind of infidel that ruins perfectly good tea with milk. I drink green and white tea straight. Others I drink with a few drops lemon juice, and a spoonful of sugar. Milk and sugar with tea is good too, but only with red tea. Also drink herbal tea such as ginger tea straight. Me, too. Plus honey! Joyce *cringe* sugar...but I am down to one spoon. Honey is quite expensive here compared to sugar, usually $5 per jar minimum, so I usually eke it out. No milk or cold water in my tea, I want it hot and lots of it. My teacup could almost be described as a "tea bowl", it measures about 4 dl (a bit under 2 cups, I think, maybe 1 3/4 cups). And I don't drink my tea unsweetened either. I usually take Hermesetas sweetener, but do use different kinds of sugar or honey too occasionally. I don't use much to sweeten the tea, just a bit to cut the "edge". And I don't drink coffee at all, whereas DH Janne drinks both tea and coffee. Ever since baby number two, I have been unable to stand coffee. I used to love it, and still love the smell, but I can't drink it!! I am now converted to tea. I find it to 'tanniny' if I don't add a little sugar. -- Christine in Vantaa, Finland christal63 (at) gmail (dot) com photos: http://photos.yahoo.com/christal63 photos: http://community.webshots.com/user/chkr63 |

I found white and green tea are not as strong as black or red tea.
Ginger tea is not really tea, in that it is not made from the camellia leaves, but from the ginger root, and it tastes like ginger. Ginger is good as a digestion aid, and helps with nausea. A friend claimed ginger tea helps her with night coughs. Chinese use lots of ginger in our cooking For benefits of red, green or black tea, you can go to http://www.drweil.com/u/QA/QA82788/ Some cosmetic companies also put white tea in their products so it probably is good for the skin in some ways. I also heard white tea benefits the teeth and gum. Hope this helps. Winnie "meeee" wrote in message ... What are the differences, taste wise, in all these teas? Thanks I use ginger, honey and lemon tea for colds. Fresh everything of
course. I have been very interested in Chinese medicinal teas, as I saw an historical TV program lately, about the history of tea, and it was very interesting! Didn't increase my respect for the english, though...but i was particularly interested in how the efficacy of the tea was related to the 'purity' of the area it was grown in. Thanks for that link, I'll check it out. "W. Leong" wrote in message .. . I found white and green tea are not as strong as black or red tea. The best (and only) way to drink tea IMHO is with lemon juice and honey in it. OK, honey can be substituted for splenda if you want to watch carbs and calories, but the lemon is a must! -- Britta |

I love it. It tastes great, smells (to me) like very good pipe tobacco (not the smoke, but the stuff you would put into a pipe), and it's naturally non caffeinated. It's not "really" tea in the same way that herbal tea isn't really tea. But whatever it is, it tastes great. I went to PF Chang's recently and tried the Citrus Spice tea from Revolution Tea. I liked it so much that I went online and ordered some. Little surprise that it turns out to use red tea (roobois). -- monique, who spoils Oscar unmercifully pictures: http://www.bounceswoosh.org/rpca |
