Default Lumps in coat on back

My Ginger , about 7 yrs old, develops each year a crop of big matted lumps
in his coat (on his back). Whats the cause and what can I do? He'd really
appreciate help.

You just have to keep his coat combed.

You just have to keep his coat combed.
