Default Trying to find a series of books

Someone posted a link to a series of books about some cats that were geared
for the over 9 year old crowd. Do any of you remember it? If so, do you
know the name of the series or can you post the URL for it? I have a friend
with a 9 year old who is finishing up the Lemony Snicket series and will be
hunting for something new to read. Worse, the family is living in Wiesbaden
and will probably have to buy the books on base, or through the internet.

Hi Pam,

Could it have been the "Warriors" series by Erin Hunter? I just
finished reading the first 6, and have started on the 2nd set -
Warriors, the new prophesy. These are considered young adult, and are
well suited for a 9 year old to read. Here is the link to their
homepage: www.warriorcats.com/

That was my thought when I saw Pam's post. :-)

Yes indeed it was the Warrior Cat series. I'll send her mom the link in a
couple of minutes.

Thanks, you're awesome.

I'm assuming that was me posting about Erin Hunter's Warrior series.
I remember you saying you had read the first one in the series, I
think, I remember that. Anyway. I'm finishing the sixth in the the
first series and was going to offer them up to the group if anyone
would like to pass them around. They have to be read in order but I
can send the first five out right away.

Thanks Julie, you are my sweetheart. I wouldn't have thought about
recommending this series if you hadn't posted about it. JB is a precocious
child. I remember posting in here about her brain surgery to correct a
genetic condition that would have killed her without the surgery.
