How to Keep Your Kitties and Doggies Cool IF You Have Hot Weather
Hi
Well, it's been an unusually hot day here near Seattle, 5 pm and 75 degrees out and hotter in the house, and what I do when the weather gets really hot, like in the triple digits, like it has over the past couple of Summers, is to take a washcloth, rinse it under some cool water and gently rub the kitties fur with it. That will cool them down and when they lick the water off, it re-hydrates them As for the hoomins, like me who don't deal with heat too well, I just wring the top od a tee shirt out and put it on, wet. It really cools me off but noooo, I don't go outside in it..wouldn't wanna gross out the neighbors. LOL Just a suggestion from a crazy ol Cat lady Hug Kyla --and 4 hot sleepy Cats. |
