It's been raining heavily for a couple of weeks, and it seems that
today our postie decided to make sure there was no chance the letters
would land in any wet patches under the front door, and slammed them
through so hard they flew six feet up the hallway.

Now quite often there *is* a wet patch under the front door, but it
isn't rain.

But today that wet patch was six feet along the hallway, just waiting
for the letters to land in it.

HOW DID THEY KNOW???

Easy, they just went into their personal black hole, transported
themselves into the future, saw where the mail would land, then
travelled back in time and peed on that spot.

I discovered a few hours later that they'd achieved something even
more impressive. The envelopes that landed in the puddle were all
bills and credit card statements. There was a smaller envelope that
flew a lot further, shot under a table and stayed dry. That had a
cheque for a couple of hundred pounds in it.

Not only are they psychic, but they have good taste as well.
