Default KFC again - improvement at last

I have read all the posts in the thread I started yesterday and I thank each
and every one for your suggestions and support.
When I got home from work this afternoon Kitty was waiting for me. "Gimme
some of that chicken NOW"
I'd boiled the remains of it up in my pressure cooker yesterday just for her
and picked every bit of the meat off into a basin. A messy job. The juice
had set into a nice jelly.
I gave her three tablespoons of the chicken meat and jelly. She ate it all
and wanted a bit more. I was afraid to give her more in case it overloaded
her stomach after not eating and set off diarrhoea, so I waited a few hours
and offered her another tablespoonful which she gobbled up.
There is no poo spread around in the house today, but on the other hand
there is no poo in the litter box either. I wait with bated breath to see
how it goes through.
No-one but us on rpca would understand how important cat poo can sometimes
be ;-)

I remember that feeling from Frank's last autumn. We're purring that KFC
turned another corner and will be with you for a while yet. {{{Tweed}}}

What a tough cat! You must be so glad, and we are too. You might not see
poo for a while - she's probably empty.

LOL! True.

I do hope she has rallied and will have a bit longer so she can spend her
days, if not outside, then on a sunny windowsill in your home. She has
fooled you quite often before!

She certainly deserves a time of peace after all she's been through in her
life. Purrs coming that she has a last summer in the sun.

Hugs,

CatNipped

Very encouraging news! We're still keeping our fingers and paws crossed
and sending purrs and prayers. Please keep us posted.

How true that is.

I'm really glad to hear that her appetite has perked up again! Maybe
she really did have a bit of food poisoning.

The diarrhea probably cleaned her intestines out, so she might not have
to go again for a day or so.

Purrs for her to continue to feel better.

I'm so glad to hear she's showing signs of improvement, lets hope she has at
least a few months of quality time left.

Well, I'm very happy she's eating and not pooing all over the place! (And
yes, we do know how important it can be!) Purrs still continuing for KFC!
