In what has to be the fastest turnover in history, I got a job offer
on Friday, just two weeks after being let go from my last job.

I don't even know yet what the offer is, but it was the first job that
interviewed me and did a 2nd interview, both over the phone. They
haven't even met me, and they were so impressed by my credentials that
they made an offer.

Naturally, I immediately had to run for the bathroom and spent most of
the day in there. That's where stress hits me, and extreme stress
just makes it that much worse. I'm ready for a colonoscopy now.
Bleah.

I'll find out more on Sunday. Thank you for all of your love and
support! It's a wonderful feeling, knowing that the Princess Rita
won't have to lower her standards any.

Why else do we work if not to support our cats int the style to which
they've become accustomed? =o)

Congratulations, Jane!

Congratulations on your new job!

Are you seeing a gastroenterologist? If not, it might be a good idea.

Nah, no need to see a gastroenterologist. I am a diabetic, on many
MANY medications
for various things (11 prescriptions right now), and any one of them
can cause either
diarrhea or constipation at any time. But even before then, stress
hit me there.
I was fine by Saturday, back to normal. I just need to get it out of
my system, so to
speak. I've learned to plan for it and be prepared with the Pepto
Bismol.

(For what it's worth, I did have a real colonoscopy in 2003, and was
complimented on the healthy
state of my colon.)

Oh, hooray!! That's really wonderful. I hope this job is even better than
the last one. (I gathered that you *did* like it, even if it ended badly.)
Then you can have the last revenge.

Congrats to you and Princess Rita. (Not that she did anything, but I'm
not sure she realizes how lucky she is right now.)
