Cats in History
Some of the speculation about the treatment of cats is a bit unpleasant,
but the general idea is that there is now proof cats have been living with humans even before they moved in with the Egyptians. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/3611453.stm That 'African Wild Cat' looks suspiciously like my Mandy, who claims she's a Domestic Shorthair aka Alley Cat. Maybe it's a bit skinnier and more leggy and athletic-looking, but the markings are very similar. -- Cheryl |

At a glance, it's not easy to tell the difference.
