Default Finally! her home is hers again

I took the interlopers back to their mommy on saturday. Orca(t)
began investigating immediately, but Spot was (again) very
traumatized by the change. Fortunately, this should be his
last home for a good long while. Meanwhile, Princess Rita is
thrilled to have her place back to herself again! She keeps
looking around for them in the bedroom, but seems satisfied that
they're gone.

I had a friend over for some sewing repairs on Sunday (I'm a seamstress
in my other life), and she was all over him. Then the cable
guy came to hook up my new DVR system, and she was all over
him! She sniffed at all of his tools and wandered around his
legs and feet while he was trying to work.
It's finally dawned on me. Princess Rita just hates other cats!
She loves people, most especially men, but she'll glom onto any
person who comes in the door. She even let the 18-month-old baby
wander in and pet her without running away.
Is this odd or what? She must have had quite a past history,
if she trusts people so much. It's actually quite fun to watch.

Are you glad or sad to see them gone?

Yes, to both. It was nice having a cat fungus around (Rita is not
a fungus, just pettable), but it was a lot more work, since I had to
keep them in separate rooms, feed them separately, clean two litter
boxes, vacuum every day..... Rita is certainly a lot happier
without them, though.
