Wednesday we had 65 degree weather and today it is snowing. We have about 6
inches of snow on the ground and it will be changing to ice and freezing
rain.

It was 80 degrees three days ago and today it's in the 50's. 'tis to be
expected where I live, though (western Tennessee). We usually have a
tease
of hot weather and then right around Easter we get an ice storm or
something
similar.

The good news is the apartment manager sent one of the maintenance guys
over
to help me put my patio swing back together. A really severe wind caught
it
by the canopy in January and I watched as it just collapsed before my
eyes.
Takes two people to fit the thing poles back together. Now when it does
warm up again I can sit outside and read on the swing while Persia is in
her
KittyWalk enjoying the sunshine

This week we finally, after being in this house for 36 years, had a cement
patio poured. Today, Charlie was dragging me thru stores looking at patio
furniture. And one thing I did really like and can probably afford was a
covered swing. The back is adjustable and you can even put it flat and lie
down on it. Thought of you and Persia. Most tempting.

I love my swing! I enjoy reading so I sit out there in nice weather with a
book. Persia has her KittyWalk enclosure with the little canopy top so she
can get in the shade. She's always begging to go out there and I didn't
have a place to sit since the wind blew my swing over and it came apart in
January. Been too cold, mostly, too. But now we can sit outside together
again.

Tomorrow I'll get out there with the push broom and get rid of the pine
needles that are all over the patio. Persia likes to watch the birds that
come to the feeders Me, too.

You'd enjoy a swing like that, I'm sure of it!

You sent that our way - it has been open-windows weather, but right
now it's snowing in south central Missouri.

Do we know anyone in someplace like northern Canada we could blame it
on?

We had 70F weather in the Rockies today. What a gorgeous day but rain and
colder weather is predicted for midweek. My neighbor has one beautiful
daffodil in bloom. MLB
