Default Goodbye, Louise the Cheetah

The Nashville Zoo euthanized Louise the Cheetah on Tuesday, January 2,
2007, after she was diagnosed with kidney failure. She had lived 17
years, and was believed to be North America's oldest captive-born
female cheetah. Life expectancy for captive cheetahs is generally 8
to 12 years. She was a beautiful animal.
