Default I helped "rescue" a kitty today!

I'm on my way home from work, and i see this lady crouched in front of a
small double door freestanding garage. I stopped to see what was up,
and she informed me that her kitty had been missing for four days, and
she had just now happened to hear him meowing as she walked by.

So I rushed to my place (just a few houses down) and got some wet food
on a plate so i could slide it under the small gap under the door. We
put it under for him, and he started eating immediately.

Then, his meowmie noticed that one of the doors seemed loose, so we
thought we'd just pull it out enough on the one corner for him to get
through, when the door suddenly started sliding up its tracks. It
hadn't been locked after all! Once he got out, kitty just wanted his
hoomins and shyed away from my plate of food.

I took it home and gave it to the neighbor's kitty who just happened to
be out and shouldn't be, as she is ready to pop with a litter of
kittens. Sigh, i wish they'd gotten her spayed, and on the other hand,
i'm soooo gonna want one of those kittens, but can't have any more, chad
would be peeved, why is all this temptation thrown in my path?

I think i'm gonna get some pro spay pamphlets or something, and
anonymously drop them in the neighbor's mailbox.

It's wonderful that you were able to help rescue a kitty.
Lots of purrs and best wishes for the neighbours to spay their kitty,
