It finally stopped raining after days on end. It cooled off so I have the windows open. She'd have been sitting sniffing the fresh air on the back of the couch or by the screen door to the patio. Maybe on the kitty steps at the dining room window. Jill Mmm.... Maybe those places need a Kitty sitting in them soon. Judith smile I'm not quite ready for that yet, Judith. But I won't be getting rid of those cat steps, either! Jill Good. Sometimes, when I'm in bed I turn over and remember how lovely it was to have Sophie lying beside me and I had to prop my one arm on the other so I could stop her from rolling out of bed. Judith I have two sets of cat steps. One set is by the window in the dining room, the other is next to my bed. I also have a small cat tree with a barrel in the living room. She didn't use it much but I won't be getting rid of that, either. Here's a picture of Persia enjoying the nice weather sitting on the cat steps when the window was open. http://i60.tinypic.com/1zn0d5e.jpg Jill she's really into whatever it is she can see. Was there a screen or was she really good and didn't go through? Judith Persia was very good cat. She only knocked the screen door off the track once! There are screens on all the windows here. I think she was spotting some birds or little squirrels digging around by the walkway. She certainly wasn't looking at me. Persia was a pampered cat. I had this idea that she was getting older so I bought her pet steps. I think she took advantage and I indulged her. There were a few times in the last weeks of her life she leaped up onto the end of the bed to join me. She didn't used the steps. Yes, she could still jump. It was sort of a last hurrah. Jill |

Scotland becoming an independent country? (very OT)
"jmcquown" wrote in message ... STOP IT! This is not a political newsgroup. Yes I know but it was seriously on my mind at the time. It was very important for Scots & English and still will be. I wish the vote have never been taken. The Scots who said yes are disappointed and it's going to divide them even more from England. |
