Hating clowns, I do understand. I don't have a clown phobia, but I just
think they're ugly and annoying, maybe a half-step up the evolutionary
ladder from mimes. I'm pretty sure I've said before that when I was a kid,
I believed that clowns were a different species of animal, not human. I'm
not so sure I was wrong, actually.

I was frightened by a clown at a circus when I was about 3 and have hated
them ever since. Years ago, me, Dutch and a friend were on a trolley going
to a park for a local event and I had to be psychically restrained from
attacking a clown who was
sitting next to me. Mimes are fodder for cat poop throwing, and I'm not
normally a violent person, but clowns and mimes bring out the 'meanie' in
me. LOL
If I see one or both on TV, the channel gets changed. Fast.

Sorry, I'm one of the few here that like clowns, apes and monkeys! I can't
figure out why people dislike them. Some monkeys are kind of disgusting but
they're much like hoomin kids in that respect.....
