I survived :-)
Surgery went extremely well turned out not to be a slipped band by adhesions
excessive scar tissue causing the problem. So now in a month to get back to working out and losing much much much more weight. Last time anesthesia caused a whole lot of problems including spiking my body temperature to 108 for a short period. Took 4 extra hours of recovery when it should have taken an hour and a 1/2 normally. They called it malignant hyperthermia or something like that This time no problems woke up with ease. They said I did not wake up during the procedure which I tend to do. Still in some pain from where the surgeon cut. He thinks it is a nerve told him well it was not fat this time but muscle. My sleep apnea has improved so much that my blood oxygen level never went below 99%. So I got to come home early. I weight myself 115 pound lost as of today. I have not been this weight in about 15 years. Also a good thing not waking up with back pain knocking on wood finished my last round of epi shots two Fridays ago I want to day thank you all for your purrs prayers and kind words. It meant the world to me Going to crash for a few hours no sleep last night had to check in at 5:30am it an hour drive there plus the nice pain killers they gave me are making me sleepy. Good night folks thanks again |

Good night folks thanks again It's always a worry when you have a general anaesthetic, isn't it? Will I wake up? Glad you did, Matt, and well done for your commitment toward the continued journey towards the weight you want to achieve. Purrs and prayers for quick healing. (keep taking the painkillers too, it stresses your body to be in pain and retards healing) Tweed |
