Cat travel via airline?
Have any of you ever sent cats cross-country via airline? If so, what
were your experiences like? I'm still having no luck at all getting my dispatchers to send me loads that might move me towards the midwest and the kitten I want so desperately to rehome. I am now starting to consider other ways I might be able to get me and the kitten together. I'm going to make one last plea tomorrow to my dispatcher's boss, in hopes that he can make suggestions as to how I might be able to get loads out that way. I refuse to give up my hopes of getting this little cutie into my truck! Dan |

Grace and Dave Yehuda should both know something about shipping an
animal. She shipped a dog to him a year or two ago. You might ping them if they don't answer this. Dan M wrote: Have any of you ever sent cats cross-country via airline? IME airlines will allow one pet per cabin and you have to make the reservation accordingly, they approve the carrier, forget the fee. I've never used the baggage compartment, and I don't recommend it not using tranquilizers unless you have a solid endorsement from a vet you trust. Norm -- "The web has got me caught. Jo Unfortunately I've met only two or three other truckers I would trust with an animal I care about, and they all run the I-10 corridor. Dan |
